Hi! It has been a while since we have logged into our little family site! It is a bit odd that we now live in the place where our travels in the past used to start and end. We still love living in this area.

If you have heard us talking about the tree farm where we go walk sometimes, the following picture was from there.

Today, we had the opportunity to spend the day with our sweet friends, Mickey and Carol Gates. We went hiking within the Pocket Wilderness Area in Dayton, TN. We then had lunch at their house and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine sitting on the deck over the lake for the afternoon as we chatted. Mickey and Carol love others extremely well. One of our mutual friends said to me the other day, "I think when they get up, they ask themselves who can we bless today?" They are constantly being living examples of what it means to love and serve others well. We are so thankful for their friendship and thank God that we have had the privilege of getting to know them.
