Travel Log # 6: Zombie Apocalypse Near the Valley of Fire
12/3/19 We left Wiliams, AZ and headed toward Nevada. On our way, instead of going the quickest route, we found a large section that left the interstate and followed Route 66 through several small towns. Turns, out that was a great choice. We found a little museum in Ashflatt, AZ. They had some very...unique interactive exhibits. These advertisements were all down the drive on side of the road. An old company, Bermashave, used this for advertising back in the day. There were a lot of unique sites in the small towns. We made a quick stop a park. And of course, the scenery from the drive NEVER disappoints in this area. Once we got to Nevada we spent a little time exploring. Our first stop was Lake Mead National Recreation Area in Boulder City. Jackson decided to complete the Jr. Ranger program here. He worked on completing his tasks. ...
